Héctor Novoa has largely been involved in counselling national and foreign clients on matters of corporate and property law. With an outstanding experience on financial matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements and organizational restructuring, as well as family business planning, he provides legal counsel to several multinationals and businessmen in various areas of the economy, such as the automotive, metallurgical, financial, mining and gastronomic industries, among others. Since 2004, he has principally worked with clients from the People’s Republic of China, through government and private organizations from a variety of fields, such as infrastructure, natural resources, transportation and other areas.
- Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (graduated in 1974).

- Founder and current Cultural Vice President of the Chile China Cultural Association for Friendship and Knowledge Networks, ZHONG-GUO, (since 2005).
